Family Photography Session at the Lavender Field
We hadn’t done them in a long time so it was time to bring them back for 2023. What am I talking about? The Lavender Mini Sessions of course. About an hour from Milford is this beautiful Lavender Farm that makes for a great backdrop for your Summer photos! Lavender is such a fun color and the smell is delicious! If you ever visited a lavender farm you will know exactly what I am talking about.
We had a few families that night and each of them bought their A-game! Bees love lavender so sometimes the big bumble bees can be a bit scary to kids – but luckily if you leave them alone they usually leave you alone too. Still, if you have a bee allergy, you might want to stay away from Lavender plants. Better safe to be sorry! Anyway, now that I scared you off, we had a beautiful night at the farm. ;0
I love it when people match the lavender in their clothes with the lavender provided by nature. Light colors go best with the friendly color of the fields. Such a fun Summer look all around. I think we need to make these an annual event again, don’t you think?

Connecticut is a great place for your family photography session because we could go to the beach, the park, or an urban downtown area. The sky is the limit!
