I'm Ute-Christin—yep, a hyphenated name because my parents couldn’t choose just one! Two’s better than one... unless you're spelling or pronouncing it. Don't worry, I’ve got you covered when we meet!
It’s been quite a journey to the colorful photos in my portfolio—especially since I grew up in East Germany, where life (and my TV) was pretty black and white. And no, I’m not a hundred years old—color just wasn’t an option back then! My first photos were all black and white because color was too expensive.
As a teen, I was all about boy bands—but not how you'd think. I wasn’t just swooning; I was snapping photos! I followed bands (yes, including *NSync and Backstreet Boys), capturing every moment on film. Soon, I was selling my best shots to fans—already a businesswoman at 15! The money fueled more shows and sharpened my skills. Those years taught me a lot!
At 23, I came to the U.S. as an Au Pair, and life changed fast. With my family far away and everything so different from Germany, photography became my one constant. As people trusted me with their weddings and families, my skills grew, leading me to start my business in 2010—just before life’s biggest change.
2011 and 2015 were special—my kids were born! If you think you take lots of photos of your kids, trust me, I have more. They’ve made me a better person, and since words can’t express my love, my camera does it for me!
The past few years have been my busiest yet, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Referrals keep growing, and more people trust me with their special moments.
I’m outgoing, passionate, and completely obsessed with ice cream. Seriously, give me a big bowl, and I’ll edit all night! I’m also a sucker for cheesy TV, a crier, and a hugger—excited to meet me yet?
