Capturing Childhood Magic: Child Photography in Connecticut
When I came to the US as an Aupair I loved working with children. As a result, it really sparked my interest in photography. Back then we didn’t have internet – yes I am that old! 😉 So the only way to send images back home to Germany was by actually printing out photographs. Quickly my hobby turned into a passion. Moreso, families I worked for asked me to capture their images and I happily did! Child Photography is not always easy, but that makes it fun, right? You never know what to expect, and that always keeps it interesting.
I love to keep children engaged during your sessions. Everyone is always looking for smiles but wouldn’t you prefer real giggles? That is to say, I even love serious faces. Call me strange, but I take an authentic impression over a fake smile. So the word “cheese” is banned during my sessions. Unless of course, we talk about smoked gouda, my favorite! 🙂
Exploring Scenic Backdrops
There are many options when it comes to child photography. We could have your session outside or in my Milford studio. My beautiful studio is conveniently located right off I-95 in Milford. Some sessions, such as cake smashes will only happen in the studio. I also offer a variety of specials throughout the year. My yearly glitter photography minis are very popular among our little clients. So always keep your eyes open for some fun new sessions coming your way!

Every child is unique, and we want to bring out that personality in the photograph. As a child photographer, I strive to create a comfortable and relaxed environment. Let your kids be silly and goof around. Which in conclusion will get them more comfortable quickly. I will help you style your little nugget for their big photo debut! Actually, I love styling everyone involved with your session. One of my absolute favorite clothing stores is Zara. Followed by H&M and of course Target! No worries, we will talk about plenty of clothing once you book!
