This was such a fun setup to create. When I work on these extensive setups a lot of time and planning goes into them. I want them of course to look as close to the actual setup as possible. This time for the backdrop I bought an image from a NYC skyline and then added the arches to it afterwards to copy the look of the backdrop they use on the show. I had it custom-printed by R2 Backdrops – I love using them for my custom printing needs. I then reupholstered one of my little couches with a fabric I bought at Michaels to get the color closer to the chair/couch color they use on the show. Then I needed a gold oval side table but it was super hard to find, so I spray painted a metal bin I found at Hobby Lobby. I ordered the Drew coffee cup off their website to make this even more authentic. They were sold out of the white one so I settled for the yellow. 🙂 I ordered the rug on Wayfair and it took a while to find one that was somewhat close in color and texture to the one they actually use on the show. My dear friend Jade created the cake and the sign, can’t be a cakesmash without her skills!

That is what I used as inspiration. Then of course we had the cutest Drew fan the theme was created for. Sweet little Savannah who recently turned one! I know Drew loves to wear suits when hosting her talk show so this cute outfit would be right up her alley, don’t you think? Also threw in a fun romper for some before the smash shoot as in my mind I could picture her wearing it. 🙂 She rocked both outfits and looked mighty cute.
