Well, this smash took a loooong time planning! BUT it was sooo worth it. My assistant Emma suggested this show for our celebrity cakesmash series. We were looking for a special theme to celebrate 10 years in business! Can you guys believe it, 10 years!!! Thank you so much to all of you for making that possible!
We could not decide on one set up so we did two. I mean naturally, right? I stalked Instagram to find people that have been to the set in Canada, to see if I could use one of their pictures for a backdrop. Then I came across a fabulous person who drew the Rosebud Motel backdrop for me! My backdrop company printed it for us and voila! Jade my baker friend made us the famous cake and some awesome cupcakes. We tried to match the outfits as close as possible with the real-time actors. I think we did pretty great! Lots of props and equipment were bought and the setups kept coming together. We found four super cute little ones that resembled their adult counterparts. We decided to have the smash take place on the day of our anniversary, it just felt it needed a celebration. We counted the days until the smash took place! It was a bit chaotic but the most fun! Some of those little nuggets had a bit of a rough start but then they got into it. It was so great to see it all come to life and to celebrate this amazing show that has bought us so much laughter! We were so excited to share the images online the next day!
