This was such a beautiful and fun event. We had four awesome ladies come to the studio for our breastfeeding awareness milk bath sessions. This was the first time we held the event, and it was so much fun so I am definitely hoping we will do it again. Wait, I guess that would be up to me, right? So yes, we should totally do that again! I know that some moms are not able to breastfeed or choose not to do so, that’s why we open those sessions up to anyone else that would like to participate. Such some nice bonding time with mom and baby. I love all the different colors and as always the beautiful flowers came from my Fleurescentfavorite flower store in town. Looking back at these images I miss breastfeeding, but I am also glad that my “babies” are the ages they are now. I wish I had some memories like that myself, but whenever I wanted to capture my kids breastfeeding they would not. Little stinkers. haha. So here is a shoutout to all the moms: You are doing great! Whenever you doubt yourself, know that you are not alone. No one is perfect, and no one has to be. One day at the time is my motto. And sometimes I even go two steps backwards, but that is ok, we are all here to go on this beautiful journey together. Next time you see a new mom, or a seasoned mom – hug her! I am sure we all could use one, and if you are not a hugger (WHHAATT) become one. Life is so much better with hugs!
