I couldn’t have been more excited when their mom reached out to tell me about her cakesmash idea for those adorable twins I photographed since they were born! The Property Brother theme was more than fitting for those identical twins! It took a few months of planning out the cakesmash but I immediately knew I wanted to do a split-screen to showcase the before and after, just like on the show. I purchased a graphic I liked online and modified it to fit my needs. Then I used this backdrop company to custom print the backdrop for the setup. Now I just had to plan out the setups and outfits! The planning phase is always my favorite because I love being creative and coming up with some fun ideas! I love watching the Property Brothers on HGTV so this was an absolute blast! A big shoutout to my friend Jade and her amazing cakes she really outdid herself for those!
The boys needed a bit of convincing at first, but then they were all game! I always love a good crying photo so of course when there is twins, the chance of that is even higher. Haha. Seriously though, how cute are these two mini look-alikes? I just cannot get enough!
Shortly after posting the post was noticed by the Brothers themselves! Mom almost fell off the couch and I was super excited myself!! Not only did they comment on my post but they also shared on their Twitter account and on their Instagram stories!!!! WOW! That is really exciting and I loved that this gave them a good chuckle!!
We were also lucky to get some additional acknowledgment from Mom.com.
